Bake sale: Happy pastries!

Hey there readers! Thank you so much for supporting our cause and reading our posts! I'd like to take this moment to share the happiness that we, bloggers4acause, have been doing at UA&P. As the blog is aimed to raise funds for Make A Wish Foundation, we came up with a way to raise funds and share happiness while at it too.

Do you have a favorite food? Do you ever have cravings for something sweet? Studies have proven that food can definitely have happy effects on people. Knowing this, we decided to put up a bake sale in UA&P! Home made goodness and healthy sweet snacks that brighten up anyone's day were sold and whipped out in 3 short days. Banana cake, chocolate chip cookies and Hershey’s brownies were devoured by hungry students and all proceeds went to the isharehappiness - Make A Wish Foundation - fund. What made it even cuter was the fact that the baked goods were called happy pastry! Sugar, no spice, but everything nice! The Happy pastries were in demand even after it's duration. Unfortunately, there were more buyers than there were happy pastries! This only goes to show that good food and good company makes a good experience and we were happy to share it.

Don't worry though! There just might be another bake sale coming your way soon! Don't hesitate to let us know what kind of Happy pastries you like and if you have other suggestions besides banana cake, Hershey’s brownies and chocolate chip cookies, leave a comment and let us know. Toodles! (n_n)

thebaker,

i didn;t mean the yummy goodies you sold for the benfit of those kids in make-a-wish foundation. i meant marijuana when i said stuff that wouldnt really make you happy. i agree that your bakesale was a happy pastry day cause of the kids :) good job!

nick said...

yum! you guys are making me hungry with all those pictures! Are any of those goods still for sale?

Renz said...

it's true that sweets (specially chocolates) can make us happy....because of the serotonins that these things make our brain produce.

yingz said...

i love choc brownies too! especially when they are oozing with chocolate!! where does the sale take place?

bloggers4acause said...

the sale took place only in our school because we didn't have time to sell in other places. we sold them during our vacant time and we were able to sell a whole box of pastries in an hour thanks to the students of UA&P who were not only hungry but also who wanted to help the kids of Make A Wish :)

happy said...

oooohhhh... i loved the banana cake sooo much... when are you guys going to sell your pastries again?? i can't wait... if only i could by a whole loaf of banana cake i really would. it would make me happy and make those kids happy too :D hitting two birds in one stone :)

yingz said...

i dont think i will get to taste your pastries..unless you guys have subsidiaries in other parts of the world.

Jaxim said...

You could try and sell all those lovely decorated vanilla cupcakes. Or chocolate mint cupcakes. Yum!
